BosAI is built on artificial intelligence, and we believe you should know exactly how it works, what it's good at, where it can fail, and what controls you hold. This page is a plain-language disclosure; the binding terms are in our Terms of Service (especially Sections 5 and 10) and Privacy Policy (Section 4).
1. What the AI Employees Are
The named employees in BosAI (Mina, Lex, Mercury, and the rest of the roster) are AI software agents with names, lanes of responsibility, and memory of your business context. The names make accountability legible; they do not make the software human. No message from an AI Employee should ever claim to be from a person, and communications sent to your customers are sent in your business's name, from your accounts.
2. How Autonomy Works
Every AI Employee operates at one of three levels that you set, per employee and per task type. Drafts first: everything is prepared for you and nothing happens until you approve it. Auto with review: routine actions you have enabled run on schedule and are logged for you to review afterward. Fully delegated: task categories you have promoted run without per-action approval, always logged. New employees start at drafts. You can promote, demote, or pause any employee at any time, and disconnecting an account revokes its access immediately.
3. Receipts
Every material action is recorded: what was done, when, under which autonomy setting, and through which connection. Receipts are shown in the product, are searchable, and can be exported. If something looks wrong, the receipt shows you exactly what happened so it can be corrected quickly.
4. Limitations You Should Know
AI-generated content can be wrong, even when it sounds confident. It can misread context, produce outdated information, or make errors in arithmetic and dates. The Service is designed to reduce these risks (grounding drafts in your actual invoice and calendar data, keeping approvals in your hands for consequential actions, and logging everything), but the risk is not zero. Review drafts before sending where the stakes are high, keep important deadlines verified in your own records, and treat unusual outputs skeptically.
5. Not Professional Advice
BosAI gives business administration help and general information. It is not a lawyer, accountant, tax preparer, or financial advisor, and its outputs are not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. For decisions that need professional judgment, use a licensed professional.
6. Your Data and the Models
We do not use your content to train generalized AI foundation models, and we contractually require the third-party model providers we use to honor the same restriction, unless you explicitly opt in. Details, including the categories of AI subprocessors we use, are in our Privacy Policy and DPA.
7. Reporting Problems
If an AI Employee does something unexpected, sends something inaccurate, or behaves in a way that concerns you, tell us at info@file.business (Subject: AI Report). Reports go to the engineering team, and serious issues are treated as incidents under our security process.
